Free virtual coffee morning: Assessing your human rights maturity

Thursday 17 September 2026 · 10:00 BST · Online · Free

How mature is your approach to Human Rights (and Environmental) Due Diligence?

Every business is at a different stage when it comes to human rights due diligence – knowing where you sit is the first step to strengthening it. But finding a credible, publicly available tool that’s been benchmarked against the UNGPs and global human rights legislation isn’t always straightforward. And once you’ve found a tool that works for you, how do you get started? Who should be involved, and how do you strike the right balance between analysis and action?

Join Gabbi Wass and Laura Falk from the Inherently Human team for an informal look at how to assess your organisation’s maturity, including the tools available to help you do it – from the AIM-Progress Converged HRDD Framework and Responsible Sourcing Journey (RSJ, members only), to FNET (members only) and benchmarks such as the CHRB.

We’ve worked with major retailers and suppliers across the European food sector to provide an independent view on their due diligence maturity and pinpoint gaps and areas for improvement. During this session we’ll talk through:

  • Which tool might be right for you, your organisation and your suppliers
  • Which internal and external stakeholders to include
  • How long the process might take, and what additional support you might need, from tools to external experts
  • The common gaps we find when we assess companies

This is not a formal event or webinar. Expect a relaxed conversation over coffee, with space to ask your burning questions.

Places are limited to just 25 – register below to save yours.
