Meet the trainer: Gabbi Wass

Gabbi joined the team at Inherently Human in 2023 and has worked in human rights due diligence across the private and non-profit sectors since 2011. Most recently, she spent eight years at Associated British Foods as a human rights and ethical sourcing specialist. She is based in Belgium.

At ABF, Gabbi worked with both Twinings and Primark, managing global staff in China and Thailand. She focused on embedding human rights into business practices, training international teams, and improving working conditions in both manufacturing and agriculture. One of her most challenging and rewarding areas of work was mapping complex botanical supply chains.

Before joining ABF, Gabbi worked for the International Peace Information Service, researching the human rights impacts of extractive industries, including oil and minerals.
